What's new
The main Infinite Quiz updates, explained simply.
On phones, a game in progress takes the whole screen
In Solo and in Multiplayer, the site header steps aside during the game, and in Multiplayer so does the bottom navigation bar: the four answers move up into view. The way out stays inside the game. For the host, the round controls fit on a single line.
Multiplayer that moves with the group
In Classic, once a third of the group has answered (one answer is enough up to five players), everyone has 20 seconds to finish, and after the correction the next question starts as soon as most players are ready. In Race, the finish line shows the order of arrival. A round clock replaces the countdown bars, the results tell the story of the round with a podium, and a seat freed by someone leaving goes to the first waiting spectator.
Report a question right from its correction
In classic Solo and Infinite Play, “Report a problem” is available under each question’s correction. In Survival, it is under the correction of the question that ended the run. Other modes are unchanged.
Survival: a ranked run that never started no longer counts
If your ranked run fails to start and you never saw a question, today’s attempt is given back: you can start it again, and no zero score enters the leaderboard.
See itLeaderboards: no more duplicate of your own place
When the top of the Survival leaderboard of the day (home and Survival page) or of the general leaderboard already shows your place, with the same rank, name and score, it is no longer repeated below as “you”.
See itOnly one joke answer per question
A multiple-choice question shows at most one humorous option, everywhere, including the Question of the day: the other wrong answers are serious, so you can no longer answer just by elimination.
With friends, a dropped connection no longer stalls the game
A player who loses their connection now correctly shows as disconnected. If it was the host, the game no longer hangs: another player can take over as intended.
See itWith friends, leaving a game is no longer final
A player who left a game can come back with the same link as long as it is not over. They get their name and results back; if they return mid-round in “Same Pace” mode, they play again from the next round.
See itWith friends, the screen now says what is really happening
In Race, a player still on the way now sees the 45 s countdown as soon as the first one finishes. During a vote, you are invited to choose instead of waiting for the host, and the pace is no longer credited to the host when everyone plays at their own speed. “Propose new quizzes” now tells you when there is nothing left to suggest, “Copy link” shows the link to copy by hand if the browser blocks copying, and several texts were fixed.
See itWith friends, the ranking rewards those who finish
With the same number of correct answers, the player who finished the round now ranks ahead of one who stopped partway: the clock only separates comparable games, and two perfectly tied players share first place. A player who leaves keeps their results, and the end screen and the game memory rank them the same way. In “Same Pace” mode, a host tap just as the correction appears no longer skips it, and times now count from the moment each question opens.
See itCreating a quiz “From a topic” works on the first try
Searching the catalog for questions on your topic could fail on the first try and show “We can’t prepare your quiz right now. Try again.” It now answers the first time, and Quick Play benefits too.
See itChallenging your friends now works with “Reorder” questions
A quiz with a question to put in order can now be used as a challenge, and your friends see the items in the same order you did. Games started before October 4 work again: their challenges can be played, and you can add a new round.
Your true/false questions count toward a catalog submission
You still need ten ready questions, but a complete true/false question now counts like a multiple-choice one. A quiz with six multiple-choice and four true/false questions can be submitted.
See itFind your games directly
Your profile menu now gives you direct access to your game history, without going through your full progress page.
See itEarn badges without interrupting your game
When you unlock a badge, you go straight to your results. Find your badges anytime in Progress.
See itSurvival: resume a ranked run in progress
You can leave the page and come back to today’s ranked run where you left off. The timer on the current question keeps running.
See itSurvival is easier to play on mobile
All four answers stay visible during the run. If the timer reaches zero, the correct answer is also shown at the end.
See itRoute du Rhum: play straight from the Universe
The Route du Rhum Universe puts playing first: start an endless run or browse its 23 quizzes. After a game, recommendations stay inside the same Universe.
Your quiz reaches the catalog with more of its content intact
When you submit a quiz, its copy keeps reorder questions, images and the cover. If it contains images, we ask you to confirm that you can publish them before the team reviews the submission.
See itAdd questions that players have to put in order
In the editor, choose Reorder and enter 3 to 6 items in the correct sequence. Players then have to place them back in the right order in Classic mode.
See itShare feedback in one tap
After some Survival runs or after AI-generated questions, you can quickly tell us whether the result works for you. If something is wrong, you can also say why.
See itRoute du Rhum: a quiz built around images
“Bateaux de légende, en images” asks you to recognize iconic offshore-racing boats and sailors. Photo credits appear directly under each question.
A Universe dedicated to the 2026 Route du Rhum
Explore a selection of quizzes created with Voiles & Voiliers about the race, its boats, winners and standout stories. The Universe is available from the home page and search.
Survival: difficulty that really ramps up
The run starts approachable, then gets progressively harder. Highly specialized questions no longer appear at random in a general-knowledge run.
See itFairer difficulty ratings for quizzes
The displayed level takes into account how players who actually choose the quiz perform. A specialist topic can therefore be approachable for fans without being treated as easy for everyone.
See itYour private quiz stays separate from its published version
If a copy of your quiz is published in the catalog, the editor clearly shows which version you are editing. Your personal version stays private, and you can open the public version separately.
See itInvite friends straight from the lobby
Share the game link directly to the app of your choice. On mobile, the room code and invitation actions are visible as soon as you enter the lobby.
See itGenerate a cover from your quiz
AI can create a cover from your questions and answers. It appears in My Quizzes and on your share link, with an AI-generated label.
See itPaste an image straight into your quiz
Copy an image in your browser, then paste it into a question or use it as the cover without going through your gallery. It is processed like a normal uploaded image.
See itReview AI-generated questions more easily
When questions need to be checked before a catalog submission, the editor takes you through them one by one and shows how many are still left to review.
See itSurvival no longer starts by itself
Reloading the page or going back no longer starts a run for you. If you reload during an active Survival run, you return to the same game.
See itQuick Play starts sooner on niche topics
If there is no suitable quiz yet, the game can begin as soon as the first questions are ready. The next ones are generated while you play.
See itFree Play uses the catalog’s topics
History, Geography, Sports… the topics now match the catalog in your language. You can also start a game across all topics without choosing one.
See itOn mobile, start a quiz from the first screen
A quiz page now shows the actions to play solo or challenge friends right away. No scrolling is needed to get started.
Me becomes your personal hub
Your avatar and the Me tab now open the same space, bringing your quizzes, progress, leaderboards and settings together.
See itSubmit your quiz to the catalog
From your quiz settings, you can send a copy to the team for possible publication. Your personal quiz stays private and editable.
See itSurvival: your group keeps its history
Your group page now includes previous days, records and the group leaderboard, so you can follow its performance beyond today.
See itShare your quizzes with friends and family
Create a private link that lets anyone play your quiz, even without an account. You can disable the link and generate a new one whenever you want.
See itTrack how your quizzes perform
The Statistics view shows how many people played and which questions are the hardest. Tap a question to open it directly for editing.
See itAdd your own photos to questions
Attach a photo to a question from the editor, then replace or remove it whenever you want. Images are compressed before upload and GPS location data is removed.
See itCreate your own quizzes
Start from scratch or from a topic, write your questions, then play solo or with friends. If AI completes the quiz, generated questions stay marked for review until you check them.
See itAll your quizzes are together in My Quizzes
Find every quiz on your account in one place, including quizzes from the previous version. Play them directly or start a game with friends.
See itFind people you have played with
The Multiplayer page shows people you recently played with. Create a new lobby and send them the invite if you want to play together again.
See itChallenge friends on the quiz you just finished
At the end of a quiz, create a link that gives your friends the exact same questions. Everyone can play whenever they want, and the results stay grouped together.
See itCreate a group for the daily Survival
Invite friends and family to a group and compare your daily streaks. Everyone plays their own run; the group is only there to follow and compare results.
See itSee the details of your Survival runs
Open any finished Survival run from your journal to see your streak and the questions you played. The question that ended the run is clearly highlighted.
See itMore direct questions during quizzes
When the context is already clear, questions no longer repeat the topic, country or period. The game gets to the point faster.
See itProgress puts review first
My Progress now starts with what you still need to review, followed by your streak, badges and journal. Your streak is also shown across several months so its continuity is easier to see.
See itA new home page focused on today
The home page highlights Survival, the Question of the Day and what you can do right now. Other ways to play, leaderboards and recent updates remain just below.
See itSurvival: keep track of your daily streak
Each day you complete your ranked run extends your streak. The counter appears in navigation, on the Survival page and at the end of the run.
See itA simpler catalog to browse
Search comes first, topics filter the list directly, and advanced filters stay available without cluttering the page.
See itInvite someone even after the game has started
During a game, the Invite action brings back the code, QR code and link. A friend can join without waiting for the next round.
Multiplayer keeps moving without waiting for the host
Once enough players have answered, a short countdown starts and the reveal appears before the next question. The game keeps its pace without a manual action every round.
See itThe game continues even if the host disconnects
If the host leaves, another connected player can take over. The session is no longer blocked by a single person.
See itQuestion of the Day has its own page
Answer the daily question outside the home page, see the explanation and find the rules for the community score and streak in one place.
See itReview highlights your weakest topics
The Review page shows the topics where you perform worst and how many questions are waiting to be reviewed in each one.
See itSurvival: today’s leaderboard from the start
The Survival page shows the top of the leaderboard and your position after you play. Once your ranked run is over, you can jump straight into training.
See itFree Play: keep going as long as you want
Answer as many questions as you like, in general knowledge or on a topic you choose. End the session whenever you want and get an explanation after every answer.
See itSurvival: one mistake ends the run
Keep answering correctly, chase your best streak and compare it with today’s leaderboard.
See itYour multiplayer games stay available
A finished game keeps its own page with the players, rounds, leaderboard and your answers.
See itYour Journal is now worth revisiting
Open a finished solo game to review its questions one by one. Quiz pages also show your recent attempts.
See itInfinite Quiz moves to version 2
A new interface, a new catalog and a new sign-in flow. A dedicated page sums up the main changes and explains how to find your account.
